A “Battle of Artists” was held at the “Surakhani” Ship-Museum

On the occasion of International Museum Day, the "Surakhani" Ship-Museum, operated by ASCO—one of the companies under AZCON—hosted a "Battle of Artists" featuring young painters Huseyn Kengerli and Ruslan Rustamov.

The event was held in a live show format, where the artists competed in three rounds, showcasing their painting skills against one another. Visitors had the opportunity to witness the creation of visual artworks in real time, enjoy live music, and take part in various contests. Additionally, guests actively participated by supporting their favorite artist and casting their votes. As a result, Ruslan Rustamov won the “battle” by a narrow margin.

This unique art event, attended by art enthusiasts, employees of various public and private institutions, and members of the public, was organized in collaboration with the NGO “Arts Council Azerbaijan.”

It should be noted that this year, International Museum Day is dedicated to the theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities.” As part of the celebration, the “Surakhani” Ship-Museum declared an Open Doors Day, offering guests free admission to the museum.
