Cadets of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute visited the ship-museum.

A tour was organized for the cadets of the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute to the “Surakhany” vessel-museum (tanker-museum).

During the visit, the cadets were provided with detailed information about the history of the vessel-museum, its exhibits, rich collection, and current displays.

The cadets gained comprehensive insight into the history of Azerbaijani and world maritime navigation, ancient seafaring traditions, and the dedicated service of our heroic sailors. They also learned about the lives and contributions of prominent seafarers who have left a significant mark on the history of Azerbaijan’s maritime fleet.

Visitors additionally performed various shipboard operations using the simulators, game manipulators, and interactive devices installed on the vessel-museum.

The tour participants were also introduced to the interactive installation showcasing the unparalleled heroism and the glorious historic victory of our Armed Forces in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
