The exhibition “Legendary Captains” has opened at the “Surakhany” Ship Museum, dedicated to the lives and professional journeys of distinguished captains who left an indelible mark on the country’s maritime history.

The exhibition presents visitors with engaging information about renowned captains and showcases unique personal belongings and commemorative materials donated to the museum by their family members.

Currently, the exhibition features items belonging to many legendary captains, including Haji Vahab, Muzaffar Aliyev, Shovkat Salimova, Agareshid Agasiyev, Bayram Nagdaliyev, and Firuddin Aliyev.

The main objective of the exhibition is to preserve the rich legacy of individuals who made significant contributions to the maritime industry and to foster interest in the seafaring profession among the younger generation.
