Children from the “Cığır” Public Association Visit the “Surakhani” Ship Museum
Children under the care of the “Cığır” Public Association for Support of the Development of Moral Values, along with the organisation’s volunteers, visited the “Surakhani” Ship Museum.
The visitors included children from various settlements of Baku who have distinguished themselves through their active participation in the “Salam Yurdu” Training and Education Centre operating under the “Cığır” Public Association, as well as in its reading initiative.
During the visit, the guests were provided with detailed information about the history of the museum, Azerbaijan’s rich maritime heritage, and the rare exhibits on display. They also had the opportunity to explore various historical documents and photographs.
The children showed particular interest in the augmented reality systems, interactive games, and other multimedia features available throughout the museum’s exhibition halls.
The excursion was organised as part of ASCO’s corporate social responsibility activities.
